Cover Supervisor – Telford, Shropshire
Protocol Education is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Telford and the wider Shropshire area to recruit reliable, confident, and flexible Cover Supervisors to support short- and long-term absences.
Whether you're an experienced cover supervisor, a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, or a teaching assistant ready to step up, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a range of settings and build strong school-based experience.
About the Role:

Supervising whole-class lessons during the short-term absence of teachers

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils remain on task

Supporting pupils in completing work across a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4
-
Communicating effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational or youth setting

Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-
Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different school environments
-
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
