Cover Supervisor – Primary School
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Protocol Education is supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Telford in the recruitment of a Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive individual with a passion for working with children. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils’ engagement and behaviour in class.
Your role will involve:

Supervising lessons in the absence of the class teacher using materials provided

Ensuring pupils remain on task and follow classroom expectations

Communicating lesson objectives and behavioural expectations clearly to pupils

Supporting a positive learning environment across the school
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with primary-aged children (essential)

Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Is confident using ICT and adaptable to new systems
-
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
-
Has a calm, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning

Can remain composed and productive in a busy school environment
