Cover Supervisor – Secondary
Location: Blyth, Northumberland
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)
Salary: £100–£125 per day (depending on experience)

We’re working with a brilliant secondary school that needs adaptable, enthusiastic cover supervisors to step in when teachers are away. No marking, no lesson prep—just keep the learning on track with provided materials and your calm, confident approach.
What the role involves:

Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 (no subject expertise needed)

Delivering set work and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere

Managing behaviour and supporting students with tasks

Feeding back to teaching staff after lessons

You’ll need:

Previous experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, classroom support)

Confidence managing groups and staying calm under pressure

Good communication and organisation skills

A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
