We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham looking for a talented Teacher of Computer Science to join their team. With students learning from KS3 right through to KS5, it’s the ideal setting to share your passion for tech and shape future digital leaders.


About the Role

This role covers KS3 through to KS5, and the school is looking for someone who can:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Computer Science across all key stages
  • Inspire students with real-world tech applications and problem-solving
  • Create a classroom culture where all learners feel confident exploring computing
  • Support the department in developing a modern, robust Computer Science curriculum
  • (If applicable) Lead a subject or area of responsibility with a TLR2C, depending on experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong subject knowledge and is confident teaching programming, algorithms, data and systems
  • Is keen to stretch learners through practical projects and digital thinking
  • Can build rapport quickly with students and colleagues alike
  • Holds QTS (or is on track to gain it) and has a relevant Computer Science, IT or STEM-based degree
