There is a vibrant and inclusive primary school we are working with based in the borough of Islington who are looking for collaborative graduate teaching assistants.

The primary school is one of the leading schools in the borough who take pride in fostering a nurturing environment that empowers students to thrive academically and personally.

The Role -As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1-to-1 support for students with additional needs.
  • Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with fellow staff members to promote a holistic educational experience.

The school is looking for pro-active, enthusiastic graduates who are searching for professional development in Primary Education.

Requirements - You must be available Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00, long-term and full time.

You must have some sort of SEN experience whether professionally or in your personal life. You must also be able to travel to the Islington area.

The role is expected to start right away, if you do have a notice period, please understand that the school are not able to wait and are looking to appoint the most suitable candidate as soon as they can.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
