We’re supporting a secondary school seeking a confident, organised individual to step into short-term teacher absences and keep learning on track. No planning required just great classroom presence, clear instruction, and the ability to hold attention.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at secondary level
- Keep students on task and engaged in their learning
- Maintain a safe, respectful and focused classroom environment
- Step in and adapt to different classrooms and groups throughout the week
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils and support a culture of equality and participation
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people (ideally in a school or youth setting)
- Can establish strong routines and set clear expectations
- Is confident leading a class and managing behaviour positively
- Can communicate clearly and calmly under pressure
- Is proactive, reliable, and happy to work flexibly across the curriculum
