Being a Cover Supervisor is the perfect way to step into education, build confidence, and get paid—all while figuring out if teaching is your calling.
Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield who are looking for flexible, reliable, and energetic graduates to support lesson delivery. You’ll be standing in for absent teachers, keeping students engaged, and getting a real taste of school life—without the full responsibility just yet.

What you’ll be doing:

Supervising lessons with work already set by teachers

Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task

Supporting pupils with questions and helping them stay focused

Learning the ropes of school life, one bell at a time
You’ll need:

A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred)

Some experience working with young people (youth work, coaching, mentoring, tutoring etc.)

Confidence, reliability, and a good sense of humour

A genuine interest in education and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
