About the Role:

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons to Years 5 & 6, following the school curriculum and schemes of work.

Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and adapt teaching to meet their individual needs.

Set high expectations to motivate and challenge pupils.
-
Support whole-school initiatives, contributing positively to school ethos and development.
-
Promote the Christian distinctiveness of the school through active participation.

Maintain good order and ensure a safe, disciplined learning environment.

Participate in professional development and appraisal processes.
-
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, governors, and other professionals.

Manage and supervise support staff assigned to your class.
What we’re looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

Experience teaching KS2, preferably Years 5 & 6.

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards.

Ability to inspire and motivate pupils through creative and adaptive teaching.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
