Protocol Education is assisting a well-regarded primary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher for KS2 (Years 5 & 6).

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons to Years 5 & 6, following the school curriculum and schemes of work.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and adapt teaching to meet their individual needs.

  • Set high expectations to motivate and challenge pupils.

  • Support whole-school initiatives, contributing positively to school ethos and development.

  • Promote the Christian distinctiveness of the school through active participation.

  • Maintain good order and ensure a safe, disciplined learning environment.

  • Participate in professional development and appraisal processes.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, governors, and other professionals.

  • Manage and supervise support staff assigned to your class.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

  • Experience teaching KS2, preferably Years 5 & 6.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils through creative and adaptive teaching.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A professional approach aligned with the school’s Christian values and ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
