About the Role:
As a SEND Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of a close-knit team in a welcoming primary school in central Newcastle. You’ll be supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them navigate their learning journey with confidence and positivity.
- Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
- Start date: September 2025
Who you are:
- You understand that progress looks different for every child.
- You have experience in care, social work, or similar roles.
- You think on your feet and have excellent communication skills
- You are passionate about helping SEND children reach their full potential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
