Are you a qualified CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant ready for your next challenge in Caterham? Do you have solid child-related experience and a passion for supporting pupils to achieve their very best?

We’re looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school. You’ll play a key role in supporting teachers, working with small groups, and providing 1:1 support so pupils can grow in confidence and make real progress.

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience in schools, nurseries, or youth settings
  • A positive, proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
  • Ability to build strong relationships and boost pupil confidence
  • A team player with good communication skills and initiative

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities
  • Providing targeted support for small groups and individual pupils
  • Supporting children with additional needs to fully access learning
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Helping create engaging and inspiring learning experiences

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
