Are you calm, resilient and great under pressure? We're looking for confident and patient Behaviour Support TAs to work with pupils who need extra help managing behaviour and emotions – either in mainstream schools or alternative provisions across Harlow & West Essex
This is an ideal role for those with a background in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or residential care.
The role:

Provide consistent 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)

Help manage challenging behaviour using trauma-informed approaches

Use de-escalation strategies and build positive relationships

Support learning both inside and outside of the classroom
You’ll bring:

Previous experience with challenging behaviour or vulnerable young people

Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a non-judgmental attitude
-
A calm, proactive approach and excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
