Behaviour Support Worker ♀️ (a.k.a. Inclusion Hero)
Leeds + Surrounding areas
Full-time | Immediate start
Pay? Depends how brilliant you are (experience + quals)
Calling all calm-in-a-crisis legends, champions of patience, and those who know their way around a well-timed deep breath. We’re on the hunt for Behaviour & Inclusion Support Workers who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, crack a few smiles, and make a real difference to young people who need it most.
This isn’t your average classroom gig. You’ll be working in a specialist setting supporting students who, for one reason or another, can’t attend mainstream school. Think of it as helping them take their next step, one small (but mighty) win at a time.
The role?
You’ll be supporting KS3 & KS4 students as they transition into a new learning environment. These young people may have had tricky starts, but with your guidance and care, they’ll find their feet. Some have additional needs or communicate in unique ways, so resilience, empathy, and ninja-level calm are musts.
Bonus: This role could go permanent and fits perfectly around school hours, meaning you’re free to enjoy the holidays like a pro (or a parent).
Who you are:
-
You might have loads of experience, or just buckets of heart. Either works.
-
You’ve got the emotional range of an Oscar winner and can handle the odd meltdown with grace.
-
You're cool under pressure and believe that every young person deserves someone in their corner.
️ The must-haves:
-
A DBS on the update service (or be ready to get one through us).
-
Two references from the last three years.
-
A genuine passion for helping young people thrive (cheesy but true).
