We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Harrogate who are looking for a compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. You’ll be supporting pupils with additional behavioural needs, helping them to feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Your role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with behavioural challenges

  • Building strong, positive relationships that encourage trust and progress

  • ‍ Working alongside teachers and the SENCO to put tailored strategies in place

  • ️ Supporting pupils in class and during unstructured times (e.g. playtime, lunch)

  • Experience working with children with behavioural needs (school or care settings)

  • A calm, positive approach to challenging situations

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
