The right support can change everything. Be that person.

We’re looking for calm, confident, and caring Behavioural Support Assistants to work with secondary-age pupils across Harrow. These are roles where presence, patience, and empathy matter most.

Whether you’ve supported young people in school, youth work, mentoring, or care settings—your ability to connect and stay consistent is what really counts.

The role includes:

  • Supporting pupils who may struggle with behaviour, engagement, or emotional regulation

  • Building relationships based on trust and consistency

  • Helping students navigate routines, lessons, and social dynamics

  • Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create safe and structured environments

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience working with young people facing behavioural or social challenges

  • Can stay calm in the moment and always lead with empathy

  • Understand the importance of boundaries and structure

  • Are Thrive trained or open to training (we offer it for free!)

What you’ll get with Protocol:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE (no umbrella complications)

  • FREE access to Thrive and behaviour-focused CPD

  • A local consultant who gets to know you and your strengths

  • A quick, supportive registration process

This is more than classroom support—it’s life-shaping work. If you want to be the difference that helps a student feel seen, safe, and supported, we’d love to hear from you.
