Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant – BD5 Bradford
Location: Bradford (BD5)
Salary: £88–£115 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025

Patience. Presence. Positivity.
If those three words sum you up, this might be your next great role.

We’re working with a vibrant primary school in the heart of BD5 that’s looking for a brilliant Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. You’ll be supporting children who need a calm, confident presence—someone who can help them navigate the day and build strong, trusting relationships.

This isn’t a desk job. It’s active, hands-on, and full of moments that really matter. Think gentle guidance, emotional check-ins, and steady support—all with a big dose of encouragement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation in KS1 and KS2

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to help with social skills and focus

  • Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external agencies

  • Keeping the day on track with firm-but-fair boundaries and lots of praise

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting behaviour in a school, youth work, or care setting

  • A calm, consistent approach—someone who doesn’t sweat the small stuff

  • Confidence with de-escalation and building trust

  • Passion for inclusion and helping every child feel seen and supported

What you get with Protocol Education:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE

  • FREE Thrive training and access to our CPD Academy

  • Local support from our Bradford consultants (we’re based just down the road!)

  • Opportunities in settings that truly value behaviour support

  • Straightforward, supportive process from day one
