Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Specialist Provision
Location: Newastle and North Tyneside
Contract: Full-time or Part-time considered
Salary: £89–£110 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in Newcastle and North Tyneside that puts children at the centre of everything they do. They're on the lookout for experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join their integrated team of educators and therapists.
It’s a setting built on care, purpose, and aspiration—supporting children aged 3 to 11 with a range of additional needs, including autism, PMLD, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and communication challenges. The goal? Helping every child grow in confidence, capability, and curiosity.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing consistent, compassionate 1:1 or small-group support

Helping pupils access learning across EYFS and primary phases

Supporting individual education plans alongside teachers and therapists

Creating inclusive, engaging learning environments

Encouraging self-esteem, communication, and personal development

Supporting with regulation, mobility, and daily routines
What we’re looking for:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working with children with complex needs

Calm, reliable, and collaborative—you’re the steady hand pupils can rely on

Strong communication and the confidence to take initiative

Open to learning—especially Thrive or SEND CPD (we’ll support you)
