We’re looking for a caring and resilient Autism Support Worker to join one of our fantastic Bradford schools. You’ll be supporting children and young people with autism, helping them feel safe, confident, and able to learn.

The role includes:

  • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism

  • Working closely with teachers and SENCO to adapt lessons

  • Using calm, consistent strategies to reduce anxiety and build trust

  • Encouraging social skills, communication, and independence

You should have:

  • Experience supporting children or adults with autism (school, care, or community settings)

  • A patient, positive approach and excellent communication skills

  • Confidence to adapt and build strong relationships with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
