An outstanding secondary school in Leeds is seeking a dedicated and organised Art Technician to join a dynamic Art Department starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant, forward-thinking school that values the arts and fosters creativity across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain materials, equipment, and resources for art lessons

Support teaching staff in delivering practical art sessions

Manage and organise the art department's stock and storage systems

Ensure a safe and clean working environment

Assist with displays of student artwork around the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A background or strong interest in art and design

Excellent organisational and communication skills

A proactive, flexible, and positive approach

Experience working in a school or creative environment (desirable)

Confidence in handling art materials and tools safely

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
