Secondary Art Teacher – Inspire Creativity Every Day

We’re looking for a passionate Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Barnet this September. You’ll be guiding students through everything from sketching and sculpture to digital media, helping them express themselves and develop technical skills.

The school has excellent facilities, supportive leadership, and a real appreciation for the value of the arts in education.


In this role, you’ll:

  • Teach Art across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available if you’d like it)

  • Plan lessons that combine creativity, technique, and exploration

  • Encourage students to experiment, take risks, and develop their own style

  • Organise and display student work to celebrate achievement


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching Art in UK secondary schools

  • Can inspire confidence and creativity in students of all abilities

  • Have strong practical skills across a range of media

  • Enjoy fostering a classroom atmosphere where ideas can flourish
