We’re working with a friendly, welcoming primary school in Gateshead seeking an organised and approachable Admin Assistant to join their busy school office from September.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting with front-of-house duties—answering calls, welcoming visitors, and providing a helpful first point of contact

Managing attendance registers, pupil records, and general admin tasks

Assisting with letters, emails, and other school communications

Helping with school events, trips, and day-to-day office organisation
What we’re looking for:

Previous admin experience (school setting preferred but not essential)

Great communication and organisational skills
-
Confident with IT systems and able to pick up new software quickly
-
A calm, friendly attitude and a team-player approach
