Job Description: We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Physics Teacher to teach up to A-Level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that stimulate students’ interest in Physics and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics up to A-Level, ensuring lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to the needs of students.
- Prepare lesson plans, resources, and materials in accordance with the curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- A degree in Physics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Physics at A-Level
- Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
