We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Physics Teacher to join our team and inspire our students in their academic journey.

Job Description: We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Physics Teacher to teach up to A-Level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that stimulate students’ interest in Physics and help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics up to A-Level, ensuring lessons are engaging, informative, and tailored to the needs of students.
  • Prepare lesson plans, resources, and materials in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Physics at A-Level
  • Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
