We’re looking for compassionate and committed Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with pupils who need a little extra support in our partner primary schools across Lewisham.

Whether it’s helping with focus, emotional regulation, or simply being that steady, familiar face—they need someone in their corner. And that someone could be you.

The role includes:

  • Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day

  • Building trust and helping them access learning in a way that works for them

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and sometimes external specialists

  • Bringing patience, encouragement, and the occasional bit of creative thinking!

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs

  • Calm, consistent communication and a genuine love for helping children thrive

  • Confidence supporting in class and during quieter moments

  • A team player who knows how much a single smile can mean

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
