1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Hayes – Sept Start

A welcoming primary school in Hayes is urgently seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil 1:1 from September 2025.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with ASD and challenging behaviour, and be confident managing learning in a calm, consistent way.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months’ experience in a primary school

  • Experience supporting ASD and behaviour needs

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • 2+ recent references

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

The Role:

  • Full-time, term-time only

  • 1:1 classroom support

  • Work closely with SENCO and class teacher
