1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary

Full-time | September 2025 start
£85–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support multiple pupils with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school in Cambridge. You’ll be working 1:1 and in small groups, with children who have needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, using positive reinforcement and patience to help children access learning and develop social and emotional skills.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs

  • A nurturing, calm and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and adaptability

  • Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
