We’re searching for compassionate, reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis in welcoming schools across Southwark. You’ll play a vital role in helping a child with additional needs feel included, supported, and ready to succeed every day.

The Role:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs

  • Supporting learning, communication, and emotional wellbeing

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies

  • Creating a calm, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive

What we’re after:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND

  • A patient, positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Good understanding of safeguarding and inclusion practices

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

  • Relevant qualifications such as a TA certificate or SEN training are a bonus
