1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden (Primary)
Location: Camden, London
Pay: £90–£95 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Start Date: September 2025
We’re currently working with a large, inclusive primary school in Camden that’s looking for a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The role begins in September and runs throughout the academic year—with the possibility of becoming a longer-term placement for the right person.

About the role:
- Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with communication and sensory needs
- Use visual timetables, calm routines, and positive reinforcement to support learning
- Help manage transitions, reduce anxiety, and build confidence
- Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
- Track progress and contribute to the child’s support plan
This role is all about patience, connection, and trust. You won’t be flying solo—there’s a full team around you, but your relationship with this child will be the key that unlocks their confidence.
