We’re looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a secondary school pupil in North Bristol. You’ll be helping a young person with additional needs feel safe, understood, and supported so they can make progress not just academically, but emotionally too.
What the role involves:

Providing tailored 1:1 support in and out of class

Helping the pupil with emotional regulation, communication, and classroom tasks

Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents

Creating a safe, structured, and encouraging environment every day
What we’re looking for:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (autism, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)

A calm, patient approach and excellent communication skills

Someone who can set clear boundaries while building real trust
