Teaching Jobs in Year 1 Classes

Protocol Education works with primary schools to help them to find Key Stage 1 teachers to fill jobs teaching year 1 classes.

Year 1 teachers have an important job to do to support the transition from reception and help to introduce greater structure into your pupils' days. The Year 1 Phonics Screening test in June, helps you to identify if your pupils are secure in sounding out and blending graphemes. Maths lessons feature plenty of hands-on activities. Year 1 pupils will count with objects and work in groups to explore shapes and pattern.
