Supporting Your Return to Work

Getting you back to work, safely.

Supporting Your Return to Work

Protocol Education is working closely with schools to provide them with the flexible staff they need to support their returning pupils safely. There will be a few changes to the way we work over the coming months, but we are confident that, with your help, we will be able to keep schools fully staffed and make their pupils return to school a success.

Keeping You Safe

We have added some new technology, processes and procedures to help keep you and the schools you work in safe.

  • We will increase communication around COVID-19 and best practice for working in schools

  • We are adding a symptom tracker to your weekly availability update.

  • We will conduct pre-screening checks before accepting a booking.

  • We will send you your school's H&S and COVID-19 plans before your booking.

  • We are prioritising block bookings and local schools to manage risk.

Enhancing Your Career

As schools welcome pupils back in September there will be new opportunities for teaching and support staff and demand for different skills. Protocol Education will help you find work and develop skills which will genuinely enhance your career.

Catch-Up Tuition

As schools re-open, the demand for catch-up tuition is going to be high. Schools will be looking for teachers and support staff with the ability to work with individuals and small groups to help their pupils get back on track. So, are you ready to help pupils catch-up?

Keeping in Touch

We want to make sure you are feeling confident and prepared for returning to school. Once you are back in school we want to know if there is more we can be doing to face the challenges of the "new normal". So expect more contact from your consultant, more opportunities to interact with other Protocol Education teachers and support workers, and more opportunities to tell us what you want from us.
