Year 6 Teaching Assistant – SATs Support

Location: South Bristol
Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour

Protocol Education are working with a vibrant South Bristol primary school seeking a Teaching Assistant to support their Year 6 pupils through SATs season. If you enjoy helping older children feel confident and ready for the next stage of their learning journey, this is a brilliant opportunity.

You’ll provide targeted support in small groups and 1:1 sessions, particularly in maths and English, helping pupils feel secure in their skills and ready to shine. Alongside academic support, you’ll also be a motivator and role model—building resilience, focus, and positivity as pupils prepare for exams and the move to secondary school.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting KS2 pupils (school-based or tutoring)

  • Can provide structured, encouraging guidance to boost pupil confidence

  • Brings patience, organisation, and positivity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
