A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Watford is seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join their team for the Summer Term 2026.
This role offers the opportunity to support a confident and enthusiastic Year 6 class during a crucial stage of their primary journey. You will play a key role in post-SATs learning, transition preparation, and supporting pupils as they prepare for secondary school. The Role:

Teaching a well-behaved and motivated Year 6 class

Supporting pupils following SATs and preparing them for secondary transition

Delivering engaging and structured lessons that meet individual needs

Working collaboratively with colleagues and senior leadership

Creating a positive, supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

Experience teaching Year 6 or Upper Key Stage 2

Calm, organised and consistent classroom approach

Ability to motivate and support pupils during the final term of primary school

A positive attitude with a sense of humour
