Pay: £186.00 – £286.00 per day (depending on experience)

We are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hatfield, known for its positive ethos, respectful pupils, and strong community values. The school is seeking a committed Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
You will take full responsibility for a well-engaged Year 5 class who enjoy being challenged and supported to achieve their best. The senior leadership team promote a culture of trust and collaboration, giving teachers the freedom to teach creatively while feeling fully supported.

Key Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable)

Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum

Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons

Confident classroom management with high behaviour expectations

Experience assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet needs

Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting all learners

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
