Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to Year 5 students
  • Plan and prepare educational materials and resources
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficient in using educational technology
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in teaching Key Stage 2

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced school environment. The teacher may need to participate in extracurricular activities and parent meetings outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
