We’re working with a friendly and welcoming primary school who are looking for a confident Year 5 teacher with a strong focus on maths to join their team on a maternity cover basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time ongoing role.

This position will start Thursdays and Fridays starting ASAP, moving into full-time from 16th March onwards, offering continuity, impact and a great chance to embed strong maths practice.

The role at a glance

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified primary teacher with strong maths subject knowledge
  • Confidence teaching maths across Year 5 and KS2
  • Experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • A positive, flexible approach, well suited to maternity cover that becomes ongoing
