Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 students
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to parents and school management
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and educational activities
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
  • ICT skills for incorporating technology into lessons

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL)

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
