Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 students
- Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to parents and school management
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and educational activities
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- ICT skills for incorporating technology into lessons
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL)
Working Conditions:
- Work in a classroom setting with Year 3 students
- Standard school hours with additional time for lesson planning and assessment
- Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
