Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 2 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
- Develop and implement creative and interactive teaching strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's curriculum and ethos.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being.
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally with Year 2.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to the holistic development and well-being of each child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
