Year 2 Class Teacher – Watford

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Watford, starting immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is eager to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of pupils’ learning. The role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher who is confident teaching the KS1 curriculum and is ready to hit the ground running.
The successful candidate will:

Have QTS (or be on track to achieve it)

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 2

Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Have high expectations for all pupils’ achievement and behaviour

Work well as part of a collaborative and supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
