Exciting Opportunity: Year 2 Phase Leader Position in Nottingham!

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic educator with a strong commitment to primary education? A primary school in bobbers mill/hyson green is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join their team as the Year 2 Phase Leader in Nottingham!

Salary: £140-£180 per day / £700-£900 per week

Key Responsibilities:

As the Year 2 Phase Leader, you will take on a leadership role within our primary school, overseeing the Year 2 curriculum and contributing to the academic and personal development of both students and staff. Key responsibilities include:

  1.          Curriculum Leadership: Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Year 2 curriculum, ensuring alignment with school goals and standards.
  2.          Professional Development: Support and mentor Year 2 teachers, providing guidance on effective teaching strategies, classroom management, and student engagement.
  3.          Student Progress: Monitor and analyse student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support academic achievement.
  4.          Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the Year 2 team and across the school, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  5.          Parental Engagement: Establish effective communication channels with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their child's education journey.

Qualifications:

·      -   Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching.

·      -   Experience in a leadership or coordinator role within a primary school setting.

·      -   Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment processes.

·      -   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·      -   Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This is a full-time leadership position, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational experience of our Year 2 students.
