Job Title: Year 2 Class Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Experience working with Year 2 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Passion for teaching and supporting the development of young children

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience using interactive teaching methods

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
