Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 3:30) 

A fantastic, mainstream, primary school in Northwest London is looking for a confident, outgoing Year 1 Teaching Assistant to add value to their successful team. This role would start September 2023, and they are looking for both part-time and full-time roles. Ideally, they are searching for a candidate that has a passion for providing pupils with an enriched, exciting, and supportive environment. 

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to assist the management and design of the class, carry out interventions and deliver programmes tailored to children's needs. 

The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant role would have experience working with children in schools, however, this is not essential. 

Teaching Assistant Job Description: 

  • Primary Teaching Assistant 
  • £77-£95 per day 
  • ASAP start - September 2023 
  • Full-time/Part-time, full academic year, term time only 
  • Based in Northwest London

About the Teaching Assistant Role: 

  • Provide support for pupils in the classroom.
  • Work alongside children to help carry out interventions. 
  • Working 1-1 with children to assist with classwork. 

Ideal Teaching Assistant: 

  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities. 
  • Previous experience working with children.
