The Role – Year 1 Teaching Assistant

Protocol are recruiting a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class in a Harrow primary school. The role of the Year 1 Teaching Assistant is for an engaging and dynamic candidate with experience working in a mainstream school. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working specifically 1-1 with a student in the class with some additional needs, the student is very challenging, and the candidate will need to have strong behavioural management skills. The successful Year 1 Teaching Assistant will be immediately available with an enhanced DBS on the update service.

The School – Year 1 Teaching Assistant

The school is a Harrow based primary school and caters for students aged 4-11 years old. The primary school is a form entry 3 school and is rated “good” by Ofsted. The school has a friendly and welcoming environment with a great school culture and an inclusive working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
