We are seeking a warm, inspiring Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly and well-resourced primary school in Watford this January.

This role is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about helping children transition from play-based learning to more structured classroom routines—supporting them to grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Key Requirements of a Year 1 Teacher:

  • Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching KS1, preferably Year 1

  • Strong phonics knowledge and a passion for inclusive, engaging lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
