About the Role:
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and inspiring Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Hatfield from February 2026.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children as they transition from Early Years into Key Stage 1, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning through engaging and structured lessons.

The school has a strong sense of community and a supportive leadership team that values collaboration, creativity, and staff wellbeing. Teachers work closely together to share best practice and ensure all pupils receive a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Requirements – Year 1 Teacher:

  • Qualified Primary Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching KS1, ideally within Year 1

  • A caring, creative, and child-centred approach to teaching

  • Strong phonics knowledge and a passion for inclusive, engaging lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
