Protocol Education are currently working with a 3-form entry school in Newham who are looking for a general TA to join their Year 1 team for the rest of the academic year.

This is a full-time, term-time post.

This school is located close to Silvertown so is most easily accessible via the DLR however is also accessible by several bus routes.

For the strongest candidate, this may lead to a permanent position at the school.

Interviews and trials are taking place immediately.

They are a three form entry school with small class sizes of around 20 students.

About the Role:

You will be working in their Year 1 class as a general TA.

There are several children within the class who do require additional support and as part of your role, you will need to work closely with them to ensure they are on track academically.

What we need from you: 

If you have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in working with children with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
