Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistant to be a part of a vibrant primary school in North Bristol.

The school:

This includes a fantastic range of facilities to vary both students learning and life skills – keeping them engaged and foster a genuine love of learning.

The role:

  • Help with classroom + material preparation, clearing up after lessons and general admin tasks.
  • Collaborate with class teacher in supporting students’ progress.
  • Establish authentic relationships and trust with students.
  • Able to communicate efficiently and professionally between colleagues and students’ parent/carer(s).
  • Being a positive role model for student and using school reward system fairly to encourage positive attitudes and behaviours.
  • Working with students on a 1:1 or small group basis to support with literacy or numeracy skills.
  • Supervising groups in lesson time and at playtime.

No prior experience/qualifications needed.

Role is open to university graduates, individuals wanting to gain experience to support future career opportunities.
