Protocol Education is working closely with a number of secondary schools across Bristol to support them with reliable, day-to-day classroom cover. We’re currently recruiting Unqualified Supply Teachers / Cover Supervisors to step in when teachers are absent and help keep learning running smoothly.
We have two schools seeking full-time Unqualified Teachers / Cover Supervisors, but whether you want to work 2 days or 5, full or part-time, we can suit your desired work style.
This is a genuine entry route into education. You do not need previous school experience, teaching qualifications or specialist training. We provide all required training free of charge and ongoing support once you’re working in schools. Driving is valued, but not neccesary.
What is the role?
As an Unqualified Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise secondary classes in the absence of the class teacher
Deliver pre-planned lessons and set work (no planning required)
Maintain a calm, positive and safe learning environment
Support pupils to stay focused and on task
Follow school behaviour policies and routines
You are not expected to teach new content. Your role is to confidently lead the room and ensure pupils can complete the work that has already been set.
Working pattern
Flexible work from 2 to 5 days per week
Short-term, long-term and full-time roles available
Immediate starts available, including full-time roles in BS1 and BS3
Emergency morning and pre-booked cover, depending on your availability
Schools matched to your preferred locations wherever possible
