Location: Swindon

Hours: Full or Part time.

Salary: £95-£135 per day

Role Overview:  

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the role of supporting classroom learning by overseeing lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. Your main responsibilities will include:  

-          Delivering pre-planned lessons effectively

-          Maintaining classroom behaviour and ensuring a respectful atmosphere

-          Collaborating with teaching stage and school personnel

-          Assisting students with their work and queries

-          Upholding school policies and guidelines

Requirements:

-          Strong behaviour management skills

-          Previous experience working with children and young people in some capacity

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

-          Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their learning.

-          Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments.

-          Desire to contribute to the school community.

-          Ability to handle classroom situations with confidence.
