About PE Teacher Job Responsibilities

  • To deliver engaging and motivating lessons to pupils and students across all Key Stages and ensure that the full potential of all pupils is realised
  • To monitor student progress, keeping student records that include assessment outcomes and targets set at regular intervals in line with Academy policy Encourage teamwork as to set collective and personal development goals
  • Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses
  • Motivate pupils and encourage progress
  • Assess pupils' abilities, providing feedback and writing reports

Our ideal candidate:

  • Hold a valid QTS
  • Any relevant previous experience
  • Good English communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent
  • Good academic background
  • Hold a Valid DBS or be willing to apply for one through Protocol Education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
