Protocol Education is supporting a structured and well-run BS25 Secondary School with their day-to-day classroom cover and is recruiting an Unqualified Maths Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor.

This role offers flexible working, from a couple of days a week to full-time, with both short-term and longer-term placements available.

You don’t need teaching qualifications or school experience to apply. An A-Level or degree in Maths, Engineering or a related subject would be ideal, but the core of the role is behaviour management and supporting pupils through work that has already been planned. Full training is provided free of charge.

What is the role?

Supervise KS3 and KS4 classes during teacher absence
Support pupils working through pre-set Maths tasks
Maintain clear routines and calm classroom expectations
Encourage focus, effort and positive behaviour
Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies

You may also be asked to cover other subjects when needed. You are not responsible for planning or teaching new material.
