A secondary school located in Walthamstow are seeking to appoint an Unqualified Humanities Teacher.

The ideal candidate must have an interest in one or more of the following subjects History, RE, Geography or Citizenship.

You will not be required to teach the classroom lesson plans and resources will be supplied.

This role provides a way into teaching and gives valuable experience leading classroom.

The Humanities department is well resourced, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across several disciplines working alongside other subject professionals in a supportive and friendly team.

 

The successful Unqualified Humanities Teacher will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for the subject and the ability to engage pupils with a variety of teaching strategies.
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner; committed to achieving and sustaining high standards of Learning and Teaching.
  • Be highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work with other, high achieving professionals.
  • Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines under pressure.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
