Protocol Education are looking for the perfect hard-working, resilient graduate to join their exceptional team!

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working alongside pupils with SEMH & complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model! You will support their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom.

This is an ideal position for a Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor etc.

 

What will I be doing in the role?

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN & SEMH to keep them engaged in the classroom
  • Encourage the development of the students' social skills
  • Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
  • Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures

What do I need for this role?

  • A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
  • Genuine interest working with SEN and Mental Health
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature

 

Time: Monday to Friday - 08:30 – 3:30pm.
